Design an animal or plant 5 million years in the future!

Enter the latest Science Across the World poster competition where pupils consider the classification of organisms, their adaptations, feeding relationships and interdependencies as well as other factors such as possible climate change for their own country in designing their animal or plant of the future.

Super prizes and certificates for the best posters from pupils aged 8-9 years and aged 10- 12 years. Teachers with the largest numbers of quality entries in each age category receive the full Future is Wild teaching resources including 3 DVDs.

This poster competition will run from 1st September – 31st October 2006.

Pupils should ensure their posters are annotated showing the characteristics of the animal or plant that has been designed.

Winning entries will be published on the Future is Wild and Science Across the World websites and displayed at the Association for Science Education’s Annual Conference in January 2007.

Judging will take place in November 2006
